A surfer dude from real world Hawaii named Cutter crashes a huge wave and nearly drowns sinking into a warp pipe. Meanwhile, Mario and the rest prepare a royal mushroom ball for Princess Toadstool's 18th Birthday. The only problem is she doesn't know who to dance with. Having heard of this familiar princess he met before, Cutter decides to go to the dance to meet her again. Along the way, he meets a swashbuckling flying raccoon in shoes who helps him to impress her by pretending to be a beautiful prince. The party begins and Cutter and Princess Toadstool hit it off, But suddenly, King Koopa thrashes the kingdom by the end of the dance!
