A poor young orphaned boy named Anthony Henry Fisher is banished to live with his two mean and cruel aunts, Hazel and May Fisher, and is transported to Lake Hoohaw. When he gets there, he befriends three young river otters who are cousins and lots of other furry folks and go on a big musical adventure to get rid of his aunts before they stop him. How will they ever solve the problem?
