A priest of the order that guards Princess Ananka's tomb. He was given the job of watching over the tomb, and feeding the mystical Tana Leaves to Kharis, to keep him alive. While performing his duties in the tomb, he learns of Steve Banning's archeological expedition. He awakens Kharis to ward off Steve's party by any means necessary. He also becomes infatuated with Marta, and has Kharis kidnap her. He attempts to kill Babe when he's confronted by him, but is shot and killed, but not before wounding Babe as well.
