An amateur archeologist. Having become destitute after moving to Cairo 5 years ago to explore his passion, he finds a lead to the lost tomb of Princess Ananka. While on the dig, he develops a romance with Marta, the daughter of one of his financiers. After opening the tomb, he and his party are attacked by the mummy Kharis who guards it, and Marta is kidnapped. Finding where she's held, he frees Marta, and manages to set Kharis on fire, ending the threat. Afterwards, he goes back to the US to visit his sister, before starting his new job at the Cairo Museum.
