An ancient Egyptian priest. 3000 years before the film, he was a priest serving his Pharaoh, and the secret lover of the Princess Ananka. When Ananka died suddenly, he attempted to steal some magical scrolls to resurrect her but was caught in the act. For punishment he was mummified alive, and had his tongue cut out. Kept alive by the Pharaoh's priests using the mystical Tana Leaves, he guards his lover's tomb. Reawakened in 1912 by Steve Banning's expedition, he kills several of the party, before being ordered to kidnap Marta. After being found the the rest of the party, Steve sets him on fire, ending his eternal torment.
