The younger sister of Steve. She stayed in the US while he left for Cairo to pursue his archeological career, leaving her to care for their parents and old home by herself. Babe even promised to look after him while in Cairo. She keeps in touch by sending him letters, and even though she doesn't ask him to return, it's clear that she wishes he would visit. At the end of the film, Steve, Babe, and Steve's new girlfriend Marta, leave Cairo to visit her, before they all start their new jobs at the Cairo Museum.
