Set in the year 2028, follows the story of Private Jacob Rivers, an ordinary soldier in John Connor's Resistance. After his unit is massacred in an ambush, Rivers, the lone survivor, embarks on a brutal journey across Post Apocalyptic LA, with a ragtag band of civilians in tow, a Terminator in hot pursuit, and a mysterious 'protector' aiding him.
