In this film John and Sarah Connor, after surviving the events of T2, are brougth in the future by a female Resistance figther name Kate. It is revealed that Skynet has survived after apparently being shut down, and has built a quantistic machine capable of sustaining the aborted timeline after all the Terminator parts had been destroyed in T2.
Eventually Kate would had revealed herself to be a T-X, a Infiltrator shaped like a woman, while Arnold Schwarzenegger would had made a cameo as a T-800 unit, now once again evil.
