Despite his last name, Steven Hauntley is an ordinary teenager, as obsessed with being different as a hunter as he is with monsters. Things change when he discovers a magical key that opens a new world in which monsters come to life. After falling into the Land of Monsters, Steven discovers he has a magical family legacy – Dracula is his father. Dracula is the headmaster of the Monster Academy, where five families of monsters teach the next generation of princes and princesses how to become heroes. Now, Steven is learning to use his magic and live up to his famous last name, along with new friends that include Rosalina Charming and Danien Zombie.
