Holly Sanderson, a teenager, after moving into an apartment in Heartbeat City, gains the ability to communicate with live stuffed Unicorns. Below her apartment is her eponymous Unicorn store, where Holly works and chats with a group of living toys who regularly visit the store's nursery.
