When a foot soldier follows Splinter back to the sewer after the fight between Splinter and Shredder, he gains the location of the turtles and in the middle of the night Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Splinter are killed by Shredder but luckily Michaelangelo was out getting pizza. When Mikey gets back to the sewer it's been destroyed, and he finds the bodies of everyone burning. 6 years later Mikey has ditched his name and now goes by The Last Ronin and protects the city from the forces of the Foot Clan who have taken over New York. Throughout the movie Ronin, Casey Jones, and April O'Neil avenge the turtles by fighting back against the Foot eventually leading to a confrontation between Ronin and Shredder but when Shredder tries to kill Ronin, Casey Jones jumps in front of the blade and dies and while Shredder is distracted Ronin kills Shredder and him and Aril burry Casey Jones next to the rest of their family. The movie ends with Ronin leaving New York as Karai finally learns that she is the daughter of Hamato Yoshi and disbands the Foot Clan. We see Ronin on Casey's motorcycle leaving as April watches and the spirits of the turtles and Splinter appear behind her.
