Set during the events of the first teen titans movie, during a failed mission, the Brotherhood of Evil sends each member of the titans east to different parts of Steel City, so each member has to struggle to fight any villains and menaces from this group completely alone without the team united, learning that they can still be super while working alone without needing a team all the time
