Rapunzel (Teagan Croft) has spent her entire life in a lonely tower dreaming of the world waiting for her to discover what life is like outside, but there's just one problem: she's not allowed to leave the tower for some unknown and idiotic reason because Mother Gothel (kathryn hahn) refuses to tell the truth about the origins of her magical hair and where it really came from. Just when she is about to give up all hope, until one day a wanted criminal Flynn Rider (Milo Manheim) approaches Rapunzel's tower and agrees to take her to see the lanterns that only appear every year on her birthday if she returns his bag full of stolen jewels, including the lost princess's shining crown. Flynn and Rapunzel embark on a journey that will change their lives forever and maybe Rapunzel will even find a place where she truly belongs.
