Jim Gordon always knew he had to become a policeman and went to the academy straight out of high school When he became a cop he realized just how corrupted that the force was He made it his mission to rid this corruption from all levels of his city Gordon is one of the most honest and trustworthy people in Gotham leading him to quickly become one of Batman’s most trusted allies, and the only person he can truly trust in the police department His wife was killed by the Joker and his 8 year old son is insane attacking his sister Barbara and causing Jim to send his own son to Arkham Asylum Despite this Jim continues to have faith that he can make a change in Gotham and protect his kids
