Selina Kyle is the daughter of a stripper and the mob boss Carmine Falcone. Her father threw her away because the rest of the family was ashamed of her. She grew up on the streets of Gotham, stealing to survive and eventually became the cat burglar Catwoman. She is not just a burglar though, she is also a vigilante, protecting the homeless and victims, especially young girls in poor situations like she was. One night she was robbing a jewelry store and was stopped by The Batman, they instantly felt a connection and although enemies they also became romantically involved.
