Matthew David McConaughey (born November 4, 1969) is an American actor. He first gained notice for his supporting performance in the coming-of-age comedy Dazed and Confused (1993), which was considered by many to be his breakout role. After a number of supporting roles in films including Angels in the Outfield (1994) and Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation (1994), his breakthrough performance as a leading man came in the legal drama A Time to Kill (1996). He followed this with leading performances in the science fiction film Contact (1997), the historical drama Amistad (1997), the comedy-drama The Newton Boys (1998), the satire EDtv (1999), the war film U-571 (2000), and the psychological thriller Frailty (2001). In the 2000s, McConaughey became best known for starring in romantic comedies, including The Wedding Planner (2001), How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003), Failure to Launch (2006), Fool's Gold (2008), and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009), establishing him as a sex symbol. One night the Dynamic Duo was trying to stop a hostage situation by the criminal Cluemaster and they receive help from a new vigilante calling herself the Spoiler. When Cluemaster escapes she goes after him and they lose track of them. When a string of murders appears Batman tasks Tim with figuring out who she is. The murder victim had their face surgically removed then bandages wrapped around their head with the word HUSH painted on them in blood. All of the victims are in the uppermost classes among the richest and most powerful in Gotham and Batman begins to investigate these murders he figures out that it is his childhood friend Tommy Elliot who had been sent to Arkham as a child for killing his parents. One night Hush breaks in to Wayne Manor and finds Barbara babysitting Tiffany Fox and when he is about to kill them he is stopped by Lucius but it came at the cost of his life. Bruce then goes to Harvey Dent for help, hoping that he can break through to his old friend who had stayed in touch with Tommy better than Bruce. Eventually Harvey tells Bruce where Tommy had last been living and they come to a stand off when suddenly Hush is shot in the back by Harvey, who had escaped Arkham in order to help and they put Hush back into Arkham, where he is then quickly dispatched by an assassin clad in black and gold. While this is going on, Tim finds out that she is the daughter of Cluemaster Stephanie Brown. They then defeat Cluemaster and begin a relationship
