James Wesley Marsters (born August 20, 1962) is an American actor and musician. Marsters first came to the attention of the general public playing the popular character Spike, a platinum-blond English vampire in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its spin-off series, Angel from 1997 to 2004. Since then, he has gone on to play other science fiction roles, such as the alien supervillain Brainiac on the Superman-inspired series Smallville, the omnisexual time traveller Captain John Hart in British science-fiction show Torchwood and terrorist Barnabas Greeley in Syfy's Caprica. In 2007, Marsters appeared in a supporting role in the mainstream movie P.S. I Love You and as the main antagonist, Piccolo, in the 2009 fantasy adventure film Dragonball Evolution. The war between the T-Gang and R.U.S.T. is escalating quickly and Chief Knight scrambles to keep the collateral damage at a minimum. Mickey decides to throw a wrench into the whole thing by reinstating Randy Wrangler, a borderline psychotic lieutenant, who takes over the operation of stopping the war by any means necessary. Alex is reunited with his old friend Nekoda, but the progression of his brother's plan causes him a few moral dilemmas. Matt is starting to feel left out, due to Moses' return, leading to a bad decision, which will change the course of the war. OTT and Harry, meanwhile, are putting pieces into place for their own plans, but only one may succeed. The city is, also, visited by a pair of conniving siblings, who end up joining different sides of the war and complicating it further; and while Tommy and Seano try to one-up each other in the masterminding department, Sparky puts into motion his own plan of controlling the police.
