He’s still sharp. They fight through guards, fireballs flying, and escape. Next: Ares City outskirts. A small camp. Diego Marks—Ghost’s weapons tech. His caretaker warns he’s not stable—haunted by hallucinations, PTSD. But Diego agrees to fight. For Ghost. Final stop: the USS Prescott. Link Prescott, Ghost’s vehicle expert, owns it now—retired, married, resistant. But his wife convinces him. He’s in. Meanwhile, back at the farmhouse—trouble. Bo shoots him—it does nothing. “I’m the Agent,” he says. “And I’ll find Marc, even if I kill all but one.” Suddenly, his chest ices over. Behind him—Bao. He’s alive. Bao and the Agent brawl. The Agent retreats, but not before warning: “Mercenary is watching.”
