After a local woman Denise is killed in a ritualistic attack by a cult, she’s brought back to life by a man made of plants and vines. After the two start to talk everything out, Denise finds out the figures name was Alec Holland, a genetic researcher who went missing years ago. Denise is now affected by the same genetic mutation that Holland has, which leads them to falling in love with each other.
