Inspired by the Black Lion video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wjLQyBD-wfA The Justice League, now expanded to include members of the Bat Family, is forcibly transported to War World after defeating Amazo in Metropolis. On this brutal gladiatorial planet ruled by the tyrant Mongul, the heroes, along with bystanders Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen, are coerced into fighting as gladiators to protect the captured civilians. They encounter the exiled Thanagarian police officer Shayera Hull (Hawkgirl) and are later joined by Green Lantern Hal Jordan. Tensions escalate, culminating in a climactic Batman versus Superman battle where Batman fakes his death to avoid real harm. Superman attempts to inspire the oppressed people of War World to rise against Mongul, leading to a final, epic fight reminiscent of the classic Doomsday confrontation. Both Superman and Mongul deliver fatal blows, resulting in Superman's death and the liberation of War World. The Justice League returns to Earth to hold a grand funeral for Superman, while Hawkgirl joins the League. Tensions rise as Batman's contingency plans are revealed, leading to his expulsion from the League by a narrow vote, leaving the Justice League fractured without their Trinity—Superman dead, Batman exiled, and Wonder Woman in Themyscira—mirroring the fracturing seen in their counterparts, the Avengers.
