After defeating Brainiac, Superman has saved some of the saved planets that Brainiac took over, and has currently trying to find a way to recover them back to how they were. Howerer, unbeknownst to him, the destruction of Brainiac's ship caused a rhift bbetween space that opened the dimensional prison known as the Phantom Zone, which frees a group of Kryptonians criminals led by the brutal, General Zod, who plans on destroying Earth in order to build a new Krypton. Now, Superman must stop General Zod and his forces from destroying Earth, but he's not alone. As a new heroine comes to save the day in the form of his lost cousin, Supergirl!
