Formerly a CIA agent and NASA astronaut named Hank Henshaw, he chose to become the Cyborg Superman in order to show up and replace the Last Son of Krypton. In truth, his envious, paranoid and egomaniacal mind seeks to conquer the Earth and claim either Lois or Lana as his bride and queen. He is soon accompanied by Quex-Ul and Mala - two Kryptonian villains long sentenced to and now set free by him from the Phantom Zone (flat rhombus-shaped tumbling mirror) before General Zod, Ursa and Non.
