He is also known by other names like Clark Kent the Big Blue Boy Scout and Kal-El the Last Son of Krypton. Either way, he is the Man of Steel we know and love and is here to protect all of us. At the beginning of the movie, he dies killing the evil Doomsday and his body is sent away into the Yellow Sun of Earth (Terra Sol). His spirit looms over the rest of the film until he is able to recover and return to life in the final act to stop the evil Cyborg Superman run amok. His beloveds are Lois and Lana.
