Clark Kent, a rookie journalist at the Daily Planet, struggles to balance the human upbringing he received with his Kryptonian heritage as the superhero Superman, all while navigating his evolving relationship with Lois Lane. Meanwhile, Lex Luthor- the billionaire scientist and villainous genius, seeks to undermine Superman’s kindness and prove to the world that he is a threat destined for destruction. Luthor has a new trick up his sleeve: he convinces the Secretary of Defense and head of A.R.G.U.S., Amanda Waller, that Superman is a global liability. Now, Superman must face more than just an imminent war between Boravia and Jarhanpur. He must contend with a failed experiment known as Ulysses, a young man with superhuman powers who will do anything to protect humanity, but is being manipulated by the formidable Luthor. In a world where compassion is seen as "old-fashioned," Superman will have to prove that kindness still pays off.
