After the events of Superman (2025), the world is still adjusting to the presence of a true Man of Steel. Metropolis is thriving under Superman’s protection, but when the alien intelligence known as Brainiac arrives to add Earth to his collection of conquered worlds, humanity faces annihilation. As Brainiac begins shrinking cities and corrupting technology, Superman must unite with new allies Supergirl, Green Lantern, and Hawkgirl, while contending with Lex Luthor’s schemes, the mercenary chaos of Lobo, and a rising tide of human distrust. With the fate of Metropolis hanging in the balance, Superman must prove not only that he can save the present but that he truly embodies the Man of Tomorrow.
