This takes place in a alternative timeline where Superman: Flyby and Superman Returns didn't happen but instead a complete fresh reboot after Superman IV: The Quest for Peace was released and after Superman Lives failed to go anywhere and everything was quiet for 6 years, until in 2006 it was announced that a new Superman movie was being made and was starting from scratch with a brand new reboot and was set to release in 2009 and the wheels were finally in motion to get the Man of Steel back on to the big screen....... Clark Kent is a news reporter for The Daily Planet in the city of Metropolis while secretly using alien abilities to protect Earth and it's people, and for a couple of years "Superman" has become somewhat of an icon amongst the city whilst billionaire philanthropist Lex Luthor isn't exactly all that enthused by it seeing this "Superman" as more of a threat and a fraud, but now something has gone terribly wrong as a janitor at LexCorp named Rudy Jones had been exposed to toxic chemicals that has caused him to take on a more monstrous appearance and has to absorb and feed off of other people's energy for his own survival like some sort of Parasite, seeing this is a massive danger to Metropolis Clark must dawn the suit and cape and stop Rudy from hurting more people than he already has.
