Edi Mūe Gathegi (born March 10, 1979) is a Kenyan-American actor. He appeared as a recurring character, Dr. Jeffrey Cole (aka "Big Love"), in the television series House, as Cheese in the 2007 film Gone Baby Gone, as Laurent in the films Twilight and its sequel The Twilight Saga: New Moon, and as Darwin in X-Men: First Class. Gathegi also featured in the AMC series Into the Badlands as Baron Jacobee. He has also been a recurring character in the NBC television series The Blacklist as Matias Solomon, an operative for a covert organization. Gathegi reprised the role in the 2016–2017 season crime thriller, The Blacklist: Redemption. He has also played a leading role in Startup, a television drama series on Crackle. Since 2022, Gathegi has played engineer and entrepreneur Dev Ayesa in the Apple TV+ original science fiction space drama series For All Mankind. He is set to play the role of Mister Terrific in James Gunn's film Superman (2025). A problem has occured in the city of Bialya but the Terrifics are unable to interfere with it because of international realtions. So Superman steps in to be a symbol of kindness for the world. Along the way, villains like Metallo try to stop him from going to Bialya. He thought it started getting out of hand when the Terrifics tried to fight him. During this, Lois and Jimmy try to figure out what it causing the problem in Bialya. Superman goes to Lex Luthor for help. Lex agrees to help him but he needs to stop being a hero or he will shoot him with Kryptonite. Lex finally helps Superman and it turns out the Ulta-Humanite was behind everything and was trying to take control over Bialya for its resources. Superman stops him and put him in a confinement cell where no one can reach him. At the end, Clark and Lois get engaged.
