She received recognition for her starring roles as Trudy Campbell in the drama series Mad Men (2007–2015), Annie Edison in the comedy series Community (2009–2015), Diane Nguyen in the animated comedy series BoJack Horseman (2014–2020), and as Ruth Wilder in the comedy-drama series GLOW (2017–2019), for which she received nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Award and the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Television Series Musical or Comedy. The film follows the adventures of Clark Kent and Lois Lane's teenage son, Jon Kent, the new Superman, as he step up into his father's shoes in a world more and more divided by anti-alien sentiment.
