Fan Casting Jonathan Kent in Superman III: The Reign of Brainiac (1996)

Jonathan "Pa" Kent is a supporting character in Superman III: The Reign of Brainiac. He is a farmer living in Smallville and the husband of Martha Kent as well as Clark’s loving adoptive father and mentor. During the film's climax, he is killed due to being in the wrong place at the wrong time as Superman battles Brainiac, with his dying words to his son being, "Never give up doing what's right for those who need it most. I always knew you had good in you, and I couldn't be more proud of you."
