After being sent away from the destroyed planet of Krypton, Kal-El lands on Earth and is raised by the middle-aged Kent's. He grows up and learns the human lifestyle but, realizes he has powers others don't. He uses these powers for the greater good and protects Metropolis as the one, and only; Superman.
