Alison Brie Schermerhorn (born December 29, 1982) is an American actress, writer, and producer. She received recognition for her starring roles as Trudy Campbell in the drama series Mad Men (2007–2015), Annie Edison in the comedy series Community (2009–2015), Diane Nguyen in the animated comedy series BoJack Horseman (2014–2020), and as Ruth Wilder in the comedy-drama series GLOW (2017–2019), for which she received nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Award and the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Television Series Musical or Comedy. In addition to her television work, Brie has also starred in films such as Scream 4 (2011); The Five-Year Engagement (2012); The Lego Movie (2014); Get Hard (2015); Sleeping with Other People (2015); How to Be Single (2016); The Little Hours (2017); The Disaster Artist (2017); The Post (2017); Promising Young Woman (2020); Horse Girl (2020), which she also co-wrote and produced; and The Rental (2020). Clark Kent, the Last Son of Krypton, believes he should use his powers for good. He moves to metropolis and becomes a reporter for the daily planet, and meets the reporter Lois Lane. After a helicopter spins out of contr, Clark uses his powers in public for the first time and becomes Superman, a hero to the city. Businessman Lex Luthor starts to grow interest in Superman and his special powers and starts to study him. Clark discovers the fortress of Solitude, a creation of his father’s where he discovers the Phantom Projector and the Phantom Zone. The projector goes haywire and releases General Zod and Ursa from the Phantom Zone. Now they plan on bringing earth to its knees, thinking humans are inferior, while Superman trying to stop them.
