First appeared in X-Men #141 and was created by Chris Claremont and John Byrne. Rachel Summers was the daughter of Jean Grey and Cyclops in the Days of Future Past reality, in which most mutants have been hunted down by Sentinels. She shares her mother's telepathic powers.
