(First appeared in Creatures of the Id #1 in 1990 and was created by Mike Allred. He has been published by Caliber Comics, Tundra, IDW, Image, Oni Press, Dark Horse, and AAA Pop.) Zane Townsend was killed in a car accident and later brought back to life with superpowers by Dr. Egon Boiffard. He forgot everything before the accident except for his childhood hero Mr. Excitement, who he modeled his costume after. Dr. Boiffard gave him the name Frank Einstein after Frank Sinatra and Albert Einstein. He would be known as the superhero Madman.
