(First appeared in Marvel Spotlight #5 in 1972 and was created by Gary Friedrich and Mike Ploog). Johnny Blaze is a stuntman who made an agreement with Satan to spare the life of his foster father Crash Barton from a deadly disease in exchange for him serving the demon. Instead, Crash died in a motorcycle crash and Johnny was bonded with the demon Zarathos and turned into the demonic Ghost Rider. He is the second Ghost Rider after Carter Slade, the Phantom Rider.
