(First appeared in Detective Comics #359 and was created by Julius Schwartz, Gardner Fox, and Carmine Infantino). Barbara Gordon is the daughter of Commissioner Gordon who idolized Batman and eventually dressed up as him to fight Killer Moth at a ball at Wayne Manor. Afterwards, Batman took her into his team as Batgirl. Eventually, she was paralyzed after being shot by the Joker and became Oracle. She is a major member of the Birds of Prey and a love interest of Dick Grayson.
