Kara Zor-El, still yearning for her lost home, goes on a quest into space after astronomers believed they discovered the remains of Krypton. While on her journey, she discovers that Maxima, monarch of the alien empire Almerac, is planning to conquer the entire universe. Now, Supergirl must stop this madwoman's plans while also dealing with the mischievous Mister Mxyzptlk, and the process of all this, find her true place on Earth.
