Peter Edward Cook was an English satirist, writer and comedian. An extremely influential figure in modern British comedy, he is regarded as the leading light of the British satire boom of the 1960s. He has been described by Stephen Fry as "the funniest man who ever drew breath" although Cook's work was also controversial. Cook is closely associated with anti-establishment comedy that emerged in Britain and the USA in the late 1950s.

While Superman is out bringing peace to Mars, Supergirl is out in Argo City saving people, falling in love with Jimmy Olsen and hiding her identity. She then discovers a part of Brainiac's destroyed ship in the ocean. It is a laboratory containing darker secrets of Brainiac's war against Krypton. Supergirl finds her own father, Zor-El now transformed into Cyborg Superman! When he awakens he flies away and annihilates everything in sight! Can Supergirl win this fight and save the city while Superman is away?
