The Yoshi is a smaller-sized subspecies of dinosaur native to Yoshi’s Island and certain areas of the Mushroom Kingdom. It distinguishes itself from other species of dinosaurs by its long tongue capable of stretching for great lengths. With its tongue, this dinosaur enjoys an omnivorous diet consisting of fruits such as watermelons and small creatures such as Shy Guys and Koopa Troopas. It also has an incredibly efficient digestive system, being able to break down most of what it consumes in mere seconds. Whatever has been digested can be laid as eggs and used in combat, an ability both genders are capable of.
