Fan Casting Ness in Super Smash Bros: The Movie

Ness, along with his friends Paula. Jeff, and Poo, are the protagonists of EarthBound. Ness himself is the tank of the group, capable of dealing large amounts of damage to enemies while being able to easily heal himself and/or his friends using his psychic powers. While Ness is a brave adventurer, he loves his Mom and phones her up every once in a while to avoid getting homesick. Fun Fact: EarthBound contains many homages to Western music, such as the drumbeat from The Megaton Walk song being a reference to The Beatles Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club!
