Anthony Dwane Mackie (born September 23, 1978) is an American actor. He gained wide recognition for portraying Sam Wilson / Falcon / Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, beginning with the film Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), and headlining the Disney+ miniseries The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021) and its continuation film Captain America: Brave New World (2025). Mackie made his film debut in 8 Mile (2002), and earned critical recognition for his roles in Brother to Brother (2004), which garnered him an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Actor, and The Hurt Locker (2008), which earned him a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the AAFCA Awards. He also played Tupac Shakur in Notorious (2009) and Martin Luther King Jr. in the HBO film All the Way (2016). On television, Mackie starred as Takeshi Kovacs in the second season of Netflix's Altered Carbon (2020) and currently leads the Peacock series Twisted Metal (2023–present). In theatre, he has performed in Broadway and Off-Broadway adaptations, including Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, A Soldier's Play, and Carl Hancock Rux's Talk, for which he won an Obie Award in 2002. Following the incognito of the previous crossover, Tabuu threatens the multiverse, but this time it's worse, this time he's trying to make all the Earths collide and explode. Olimar's ship discovers the mystical being and tries to confront it, which is not a very good idea. Tabuu throws Olimar and the Pikmins too far and he lands in Metroid, where he meets Samus and she tells him that he meets a group of powerful warriors who can help stop this new great threat. Once everyone is reunited, they confront Tabuu. What they don't know is that when Mario and his friends are taken to Samus' ship, Wario and Waluigi sneak into it but this time they are discovered. The Wacky Bros confess everything they have been doing and Mario tells them that he could forgive them if they helped in this fight, which they accept. They apparently manage to defeat Tabuu, but what they fail to do is stop his plan in time. In the end, all the worlds end up coexisting in the same universe.
