Koji Kondo (Japanese: 近藤 浩治, Hepburn: Kondō Kōji) is a Japanese music composer, pianist, and music director who works for the video game company Nintendo.
Originally, Seth Gordon, director of The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters wanted to make a film based on Nintendo's RPG game "Super Paper Mario". But that idea came in very brief and he hadn't contacted Nintendo about it.
