Mario and the gang discover some strange activity under the sea. They immediately discover that it's King Koopa's Doomship from TAOSMB3, now destroyed and sunken into the bottom of the sea. Upon trespassing this abandoned airship, they find ghostly pirates (both Dry Bones and Boos) nefariously plotting to open a gateway to The Valley of King Koopa, searching for a switch that will summon a large cave releasing the fallen empire of Koopa. Mario and the rest have to turn it off before it's too late!
