The bros’ father was once a professional wrestler named Jumpman heavily Inspired by Captain Lou Albano, until the day of the Donk, when he had the courage and strength to save a beautiful girl who became his wife and beat a giant gorilla. Mario had wanted to make his father proud by surpassing him, much to his father’s embarrassment and concern. Near the end of the film before the climax, he held a Power Star long ago and now passes it to the Super Mario Bros.
