Michael Anthony Tavera (born September 24, 1961) is an American composer. He is best known for his animation scores, including many television series, live-action films, and direct-to-video sequels.

Fresh out of the Super Mario Bros. Super Show, Mario and Luigi find a warp zone from underneath a clogged bathtub drain. They enter the Mushroom Kingdom where it's good mushroom citizens are under attack by the evil King Koopa, who has kidnapped the lovely Princess Toadstool!
