After the publication and success of his self-help book, Zen and the Art of Residential Plumbing, Mario is pulled back into old ways when his beloved Peach is taken for ransom. Enlisting the help of Luigi and his pet dinosaur Yoshi, he fights his way across the Mushroom Kingdom to rescue Peach before time runs out.
