Diane Pershing (born May 27, 1943) is an American voice actress, singer, and writer. She began her singing career as a back-up singer for Johnny Mathis and went on to appear in the show group, The Establishment, on tour and on TV.
Task Force X Code Name Suicide Squad, was an old agency that operated during the Cold War from 1954-1992 and was now reactivated by Amanda “The Wall” Waller as a way for the government to have it's own task force with two benefits. Criminals would be given the chance to work off prison sentences in exchange for freedoms and amnesty. But they call it the Suicide Squad due to its infamous reputation.
