Trigger Inc. (Japanese: 株式会社トリガー, Hepburn: Kabushiki-gaisha Torigā), also known as Studio Trigger, is a Japanese animation studio founded by former Gainax employees Hiroyuki Imaishi and Masahiko Ōtsuka on August 22, 2011.
Task Force X Code Name Suicide Squad, was an old agency that operated during the Cold War from 1954-1992 and was now reactivated by Amanda “The Wall” Waller as a way for the government to have it's own task force with two benefits. Criminals would be given the chance to work off prison sentences in exchange for freedoms and amnesty. But they call it the Suicide Squad due to its infamous reputation.
