Glitchtrap, appearing to be in his good state, continues his strange behavior until he finally corners Vanessa. Though she resists, insisting she doesn’t want to return to her dark side, Glitchtrap overwhelms her and forces his control, turning her once again into a serial killer.
Desperate, Vanessa calls out to Sub-Zero for help. Without hesitation, Sub-Zero leaves his quarters and summons Scorpion and Kenshi. The three warriors join forces and confront Glitchtrap in a fierce battle. Sub-Zero wields his ice-forged blade shaped like the Skyward Blade, Scorpion draws his Bakufu Sword, and Kenshi brandishes his ancestral sword, Sento. Together, they strike down Glitchtrap and free Vanessa from his control.
