Joseph Chrest is an American academic and actor. He has had roles in numerous films and television shows including 21 Jump Street, 22 Jump Street, Oldboy, Lee Daniels' The Butler, The Perfect Date, and as Ted Wheeler in Stranger Things.
Set in the summer of '85, the gang deals with new relationships and the opening of the Starcourt Mall, while beneath it, Soviets try to reopen the gate to the Upside Down, leading the Mind Flayer to possess townsfolk (the "Flayed") and form a giant creature.
