Mark Ware IshamΒ (born September 7, 1951) is an American musician and composer. AΒ trumpeterΒ and keyboardist, Isham works in a variety of genres, includingΒ jazzΒ andΒ electronic. He is also a prolific and acclaimed composer ofΒ film scores. He has scored over 200 film and television productions since his debut in 1983.
Isham is a nine-timeΒ Grammy AwardΒ nominee, winningΒ the award for Best New Age AlbumΒ for his 1990Β self-titled album. He was nominated for anΒ Academy AwardΒ forΒ A River Runs Through ItΒ (1992) and aΒ Golden Globe AwardΒ forΒ NellΒ (1994). He has also been nominated for sixΒ Primetime Emmy Awards, winningΒ Outstanding Original Main Title Theme MusicΒ forΒ EZ Streets.
